Deepro Roy nominated for The Hindu Playwright Award 2019

The Hindu Playwright Award is given out at the opening of the Hindu Theatre Fest to the best unperformed and unpublished play submitted and written in the English language and includes a cash prize of 2 Lakhs. Deepro Roy's (Batch 2020) play 'Azad Theatre' with three other plays, was shortlisted out of 82 submissions by an eminent jury consisting of playwright Ramu Ramanathan, academic Arshia Sattar and theatre practitioner and playwright Annie Zaidi.
